Advanced Pranayama and Meditation Workshop in Bengaluru

This workshop organized by Indian Yoga School will lead you on a journey of becoming more creatively active in your meditation and pranayama practice. In this program, we will learn different forms of pranayama and meditation to lower anxiety and stress. The complete workshop is designed to focus on the breath and in preparation for meditation practice to calm the mind. The program is based on 80% of pranayama and meditation practice and only 20% on theory. We at Indian Yoga School - IYS are committed to imparting the right and correct techniques or ways of Pranayama for your better health and well-being. After the complete Advanced Pranayama and Meditation Workshop program one can observe the relief from Hypertension, Asthma and anxiety disorders which are lifestyle diseases. This workshop will help you to rectify with correct breathing patterns.

Inclusion
  • The campus of Indian Yoga School is a traditional ashram which will help the students and practitioners imbibe themselves into the spirit of Yoga.

  • Accommodation to students is provided at the nearby clean, hygienic either shared / or single occupancy rooms at the modern apartments since the Ashram accommodation is completely booked.

  • The accommodation is only for students opting for the Teacher training course.

  • We serve healthy yogic dinners to our understudies, arranged to flawlessness by our expert gourmet specialists who have some expertise in yogic cooking.

Pranayama Workshop Syllabus:

  • Introduction, source, and goal of Pranayama 

  • Nadi, Chakra, and Kundalini 

  • Pancha kosha(five sheaths) and Pancha Vayu (five energy flows)

  • Diet and lifestyle of the practitioner 

  • Relaxation asana and sitting posture for pranayama.

  • Basic breathing exercise for preparation of Pranayama.  

  • Seven types of Pranayama and variation of Kapalbhati, Sheetali, Bhastrika, Seetkari, Nadi Shodhana, Bhramari, ujjayi, 

  • Introduction, goal, preparation, practice, benefits, and contraindications of all seven pranayamas.
