Indian Yoga School welcomes you for Advanced Pranayama and Meditation Workshop in Mauritius where you can expand your knowledge of anatomy and learn the mechanics of breathing technique. Pranayama practice in this workshop will slowly make the muscles you use to more malleable and breath stronger. This will help you to deliver more oxygen to your body with each and every inhalation. If you have your own history of trauma that you would like to integrate into your life in a way that makes sense and sets you free to experience the joy of the practice of pranayama. This will help you to inhabit your body in a way that is loving, connected and whole. This Indian Yoga School workshop for advanced pranayama and meditation will lead you on a journey of becoming more creatively active in mind and body.

Inclusion
  • The campus of Indian Yoga School is a traditional ashram which will help the students and practitioners imbibe themselves into the spirit of Yoga.

  • Accommodation to students is provided at the nearby clean, hygienic either shared / or single occupancy rooms at the modern apartments since the Ashram accommodation is completely booked.

  • The accommodation is only for students opting for the Teacher training course.

  • We serve healthy yogic dinners to our understudies, arranged to flawlessness by our expert gourmet specialists who have some expertise in yogic cooking.

Pranayama Workshop Syllabus:

  • Introduction, source, and goal of Pranayama 

  • Nadi, Chakra, and Kundalini 

  • Pancha kosha(five sheaths) and Pancha Vayu (five energy flows)

  • Diet and lifestyle of the practitioner 

  • Relaxation asana and sitting posture for pranayama.

  • Basic breathing exercise for preparation of Pranayama.  

  • Seven types of Pranayama and variation of Kapalbhati, Sheetali, Bhastrika, Seetkari, Nadi Shodhana, Bhramari, ujjayi, 

  • Introduction, goal, preparation, practice, benefits, and contraindications of all seven pranayamas.
